Scattering Ashes at Sea
Our charter boat service scatters ashes off the West Coast of Florida in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. We perform services with the entire family aboard to make scattering a memorable family event. Our boat, the Red Skyy, is a US Coast Guard Inspected Vessel manned by a Licensed Master Captain. We can accommodate up to 16 family members for a safe, smooth trip.
Capt. Mark docks the Red Skyy at the Cortez Kitchen restaurant in Cortez, Fl. ( just off Cortez Rd. in Bradenton ). A licensed Funeral Director / Master Captain will help personalize your services to be a memorable event. Most services will have family participate with the scatter and a placement of flowers as the boat circles the area. Customize the event with a solemn Mariner's Prayer or a lively music-filled, champagne-toasted celebration.
Either at sunset or sunrise, a scatter service on the water is a growing Florida trend. These events typify the laid back island custom that only the unique enjoy. Each scatter can be charted and plotted for future anniversary cruises to revisit a special place for reflection and celebration.
